Abstract

In Islam, understanding the names and attributes of Allah, collectively known as Asma'ul Husna (The Most Beautiful Names), is essential to deepening one’s faith. These divine names represent various attributes that define Allah’s essence, such as mercy, compassion, omnipotence, and wisdom. Rooted in the Quran and the Hadith (the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad), they affirm Allah’s absolute uniqueness and perfection, as well as His relationship with creation. This study explores the theological significance of these names, their primary sources, and their role in Islamic spirituality. By contemplating and invoking Allah’s names in worship and daily life, Muslims seek to embody the virtues they represent, promoting a life of devotion, justice, and compassion. Ultimately, this inquiry enhances personal faith while offering insights into the broader Islamic worldview, particularly the concepts of divine unity and the interconnectedness of all existence.
