Authors Guideline

  1. All submissions must be forwarded to the editor's designated email address: editor.sareerakhama@gmail.com, editor@sareer-a-khama.com
  2. English manuscripts must be prepared on A4 sized paper using Microsoft Word. The prescribed font is Times New Roman, with text set at size 12, headings at size 14 in bold, subheadings at size 12 in bold, and footnotes/references at size 11.
  3. Utilize the “1 MUHAMMAD QURANIC” font for any Quranic passages and “TRADITIONAL ARABIC” other Arabic texts.
  4. Alongside the article, include a separate page containing your complete name, postal and office addresses, phone/mobile number, fax, email, and your signature.
  5. Articles will be considered for publication only post-approval from subject matter experts and compliance with Higher Education Commission (HEC) standards. However, the institution disclaims responsibility for unsuitable submissions.
  6. Begin the article with a 200-word abstract written in English.
  7. Citation style should be consistent, following any internationally recognized format. In the following clauses a few permitted citation styles are given.
  8. Quranic citations should adhere to the format: Quran 3:113 (mentioning the translation source).
  9. Hadith references should follow this format: Muhammad bin Ismail al-Bukhari, Al-Jamii-o-Al-Sahih, Book of Sacrifices, Chapter on Eating the Meat of Slaughtered Animals (Dar al-Islam, Riyadh, 1417 AH), Hadith 5530.
  10. Book references should be formatted as: Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Sarakhsi, Usul al-Sarakhsi, (Dar al-Ma'arifah, Beirut, 1977 AD), Vol. 1, p. 350.
  11. Journal citations should adhere to the format: Muhammad Shahbaz, A Review of Contemporary Muslim Critics of Western Thought, Ma'arif Research Journal, Karachi, (2017 AD), 2:5.45, or APA style. Maintain consistency throughout the document.
  12. While English transliteration is provided for Arabic and Urdu terms, authors should ensure consistency with the scholars' own spelling. For Arabic assistance, www.jaghbub.com can be consulted.
  13. This journal welcomes submissions in the fields of arts and humanities.
