This research study explores the significance of tajweed (rules of correct pronunciation) and tartil (measured recitation) in Quranic education, emphasizing their necessity in both classical and contemporary contexts. The Quran, as divine guidance for humanity, requires not only understanding but also proper recitation that preserves the sanctity of its words. Drawing upon Quranic verses, Prophetic traditions, and scholarly interpretations, the article highlights how accurate articulation, pauses, intonation, and adherence to phonetic rules are integral to fulfilling the rights of the Quran. The study underscores that neglecting tajweed alters meanings and diminishes the spiritual impact of recitation, while tartil ensures clarity, reflection, and emotional resonance. Furthermore, it addresses modern challenges in Quranic pedagogy, where rote learning often overlooks phonetic precision, and stresses the responsibility of educators and parents to instill authentic recitation practices. By situating tajweed and tartil within the broader framework of Islamic scholarship and contemporary educational needs, the article affirms their role as essential components of Quranic transmission, spiritual enrichment, and preservation of linguistic integrity.
